Your Storefront is the first impression couples get of your business when they're searching for wedding vendors on WeddingWire. Follow these guidelines to create a Storefront that stands out and maximize your Storefront potential.
- Include your basic business information: Let couples know where you’re located with your business address and make it easy for them to contact you with your phone number and email address.
- Include a business description: Share about your business expertise and the services you provide with an optimized business description that can help improve your rankings across search engines. Our team will help write your description based on publicly available sources, and optimize it for SEO within 3-5 days of your contract execution. If you write your description before they get to it, they’ll review and edit based on best practices for SEO, formatting and grammar.
Please do not include blocks of text taken from another source like your business website. Duplicate content has a negative impact on your SEO so make sure to vary your descriptions across The Knot, WeddingWire, and anywhere else you promote your business to help you rank higher in search results.
Our Content team reviews and edits each Storefront thoughtfully, taking into careful consideration what makes each vendor or venue unique. Delivering the best user experience for everyone is our top priority.
It’s important to note that we support inclusivity and stand firmly against discrimination of any type, including any hate speech. Please see our Nondiscrimination Policy for more information. To ensure everyone feels welcome on our site:
-
-
- Please use inclusive language like “couples” instead of “bride” or “groom”
- Avoid language that romanticizes the history of slavery
- Include diverse images
-
- Add photos and videos to your gallery: Upload high-resolution photos and select a main image that represents your brand (we’ll choose one for you if you don’t set it). If you’re a new vendor and do not have many photos yet, get started by uploading some of the top performing photos from your social media channels and work your way up over time.
Please do not upload images with text obscuring them or that include contact information, screenshots, reviews, menus, or promotional material. Small watermarks are okay. We do not provide stock photos at this time.
- Answer FAQs about your products and services: Each vendor category has a unique set of common questions—ranging from starting fees to specialized services—that will appear on your Storefront once answered. When you provide more info about your business and services via FAQs, you can also appear within filtered results when couples search by specific criteria within WeddingWire Marketplace.
- Share your pricing: Add information about your rates and packages to educate couples and attract more of the ideal clients for your business. Pricing details can be added to the WeddingPro Pricing tool or through the FAQs section on WeddingWire.
- Include links to your website and social media channels: Make it easy for couples to find other examples of your work by adding links to your business website and professional social channels, like Instagram and Facebook.
- Request reviews from past clients: Use WeddingWire’s Review Collector tool to easily send an email to your past clients or share your personal review link. When it comes to reviews, more is more so make sure to request reviews from clients after each wedding to help build your credibility.
You can track your Storefront setup progress within your WeddingPro account. Once setup is complete, we recommend updating your Storefront at least once per season to keep your content fresh and relevant.
